Uofsc Student Death – A University of South Carolina understudy was discovered dead Sunday morning and an examination is in progress.
No injustice is suspected in the understudy’s demise, as indicated by USC representative Jeff Stensland.
The body was found in the Honors College Residence Hall and the passing is being examined by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and the Richland County Coroner’s Office, as per Stensland.
USC sent an alarm to understudies advising them regarding the passing.
Coroner Gary Watts said individuals from his office and SLED specialists were examining the dormitory at 1215 Blossom St. in Columbia on Sunday evening. That is close to the convergence with Assembly Street, in the core of the USC grounds.
Data on the reason for death was not accessible.
The coroner’s office will freely distinguish the understudy in the wake of informing the closest relative.
Since USC’s grounds is government property, it is typical for SLED to lead the examination, representative Tommy Crosby disclosed to The State.
Additional data was not accessible in light of the continuous examination.
