Jerry Rubin Cause of Death – Jerry Rubin, the counter war revolutionary who once advised his friends never to confide in anybody more than 30, passed on Monday night at UCLA Medical Center. He was 56.
Rubin- – a deep-rooted rule-breaker for a large portion of his very much promoted life- – had been in serious consideration since Nov. 14, when he was hit by a vehicle while jaywalking in Westwood. Emergency clinic authorities said the Yippie-turned-finance manager endured a heart failure about 7:45 p.m. what’s more, couldn’t be revived.
“He was an incredible life power, loaded with energy, fortitude and mind,” state Sen. Tom Hayden (D-Santa Monica) said late Monday, including that he was “frightfully tragic” to know about Rubin’s passing.
“I figure his readiness to oppose expert for useful purposes will be remembered fondly,” Hayden said. “Up to the end, he was opposing position.”
