James Koutnik Obituary – James Koutnik Death | Cause of Death | James E. “Jim” Koutnik, 79, of Harveys Lake, died Friday, December 28, 2007, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Conceived December 2, 1928, in Marshfield, Wis., he was a child of the late Carl and Anna Burkart Koutnik.

He accepted his schooling in California and served in the U.S. Naval force during the Korean clash.

Jim was utilized by Offset Paperback Inc. in Dallas, resigning in 1994. In the wake of resigning, he bartended at the Fernbrook Inn.

Mr. Koutnik was an individual from St. Therese’s Church, Shavertown; American Legion Post 672, Dallas; VFW Post 283, Kingston; and the Wilkes-Barre Coin Club.

He was gone before in death by siblings Roland and Donald Koutnik; sister Beatrice Stenger; a grandson, Casey Meadows.

He is made due by his significant other of 33 years, the previous Annette Shalata: child Carl J. Koutnik III, of California; little girl Dena Lynn Meadows, of Arizona; stepsons Ernest Daily and his significant other, Marianne, of Coatesville, Pa., and Edward Daily and his better half, Kelley, of Honey Brook, Pa.; stepdaughter Janeen Daily, of Harveys Lake; grandkids Reaghan, Maredyth, E.J., Ethan, Mckayla and Kyle.
