Jackie Hawks Obituary – Mr. Jackie Rudolph Hawks, 72, of Cana, Va., died at his home Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014. He was brought into the world in Carroll County, Va., on Feb. 8, 1941, to the late Cleaver Clifton and Emaline Ward Tate Hawks. Mr. Birds of prey resigned from the U.S. Postal Service and was a committed individual from Oak Ridge Baptist Church.
He was a man of trustworthiness, a gave and cherishing spouse, father, granddad and companion. Mr. Birds of prey is made due by his significant other of 52 years, Juanita H. Falcons of the home; a girl and child in-law, Janie and James Dutton Sr. of Cary; a child and girl in-law, Jonathan C. furthermore, Teresa R. Birds of prey of Fancy Gap; grandkids, James W. Dutton Jr., Jennifer Leigh Dutton, Isaac John Hawks and Lucas Daniel Hawks; sister and brothers by marriage, Joanne and Dan Inman of Sanford, and Jim Thomas of Cana; sibling and sister-in-law, Everett L. furthermore, Cora E. Falcons of Cana; and two nephews, Carl Hawks and Bruce Thomas.
Notwithstanding his folks, he was gone before in death by two sisters, Edith Orene Hawks and Frankie H. Thomas; two siblings, Burley Odell Hawks and Junior Hawks; and a niece, Linda K. Edwards. Memorial service administrations will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at Oak Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. David Sechrist administering. Entombment will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens.
