I’ve always been a bag girl. Formative shopping experiences in New York and Paris turned an interest into a full-blown obsession. Bags are a great way to fine-tune a look and convey personal style. The bags in big box department stores never held a candle to my coveted boutique scores, and I let the way that I shop guide the development of my store. I want my customers to enjoy that gleeful sense of discovery that comes with a great find in a cute, thoughtfully decorated and well organized space.
Bess & Loie is packed with beautiful bags, and I’ve tried to make it an inviting place where customers feel welcome and relaxed. On any given day, you’re likely to find people hanging out on the comfy chairs, kicking back with a glass of wine, some chocolate and licorice, watching a Bears game or an old episode of Beverly Hills, 90210.
The bags at Bess & Loie bring a little art into everyday life. I only buy well constructed, creatively designed pieces that are as interesting and cool as my clientele. I have built relationships with top-notch lines that are committed to quality products and service, just like Bess & Loie.
